Why has my color changed in the online publication?
If your PDF is made for print, the colour model will be CMYK. Some CMYK colors cannot be shown correctly on the internet as well as in a Zmag and as such you need to export your PDF with an sRGB color profile.
What can I do to resolve the issue
As a rule of thumb you should always convert your PDF according to the RGB color model and we recommend using the following InDesign export settings in order to do this:

Steps to change from CMYK to SRGB in Acrobat Distiller
The following outlines the steps to change the color profile in Acrobat Distiller:
1) Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat Professional.
2) Go to File > Print.
3) When the dialog box opens Select Adobe PDF from the list of printers.
4) Select "Chose paper Source by PDF page size".
5) Click on the "Properties" button.
6) Go to the Adobe PDF Settings tab.
7) Under Default Settings click the Edit button.
8) Go to the Color section on the left hand side.
9) Under Color Management Policies choose Convert all colors to sRGB.
10) Click OK.
11) Click Save to save the new settings.
12) Click OK on the Adobe PDF document properties.
13) Click OK on the Print dialog window to reprint the PDF.
