In the Zmags Publicator, it is possible to upload separate image files for the purpose of enhancing your publication in a variety of ways. An image may be displayed as the visual component of an enriched linkbox or mouseover popup. In the Standard viewer, it may be used as a background image or loading screen logo.
Supported file types include JPEG, JPG, GIF*, and PNG.
* Note that animation is not supported for directly embedded images. It is necessary to use an HTML5 widget instead. For more information, please see the following article:

How to Upload an Image
1) Log into the Zmags Publicator and click "Images" on the left side.
2) Click "Upload" near the top of the window.
3) Click "Browse" and select an image file from your computer.
4) Click "Upload".
Note: If you currently have any Zmags Enriched windows open, they will need to be closed and reopened before newly uploaded images are available.
How to Apply an Image to a Link
1) In Zmags Enriched, first create a link box as usual.
2) If it is not currently selected, use the standard cursor (topmost tool in the left toolbar) to select it.
3) The link properties should be open now. Near the bottom, use the "external source" drop-down menu to select an image to apply.
4) When finished, be sure to select "Save All" from the 'File' menu before exiting.
Note: Please be mindful of how your image dimensions compare to the link box's size. In the HTML5 viewers, your images will be stretched to fill the link box. As such, if you want to avoid stretching or skewing of your images in HTML5, it is necessary to keep link box sizes proportionate to image sizes.
