How to open my publication on a specified page

Using a "deeplink" URL, it is possible to open your Zmags publication directly to a specific page while otherwise maintaining the usual reading experience.

Note: This method will not work if using an IFrame or embedded viewer. To deep-link an embedded publication, please see the following article instead:

(1) Hash Location

To create a deeplink, simply use the following format:
http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/publication_ID#/publication_ID/page_number
The publication ID can be found by clicking your publication's name in the "All Publications" list while logged into the Zmags Publicator.

Here's an example:
http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/e90b813d#/e90b813d/5
This will open the publication with ID e90b813d to page 5.

(2) URL Parameter

If for one reason or another you cannot use a # in URLs on your website, here is an alternative format:
http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/publication_ID?page=page_number

Here's an example:
http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/e90b813d?page=5
