How can I make my publication non-searchable on Google

What are the benefits of not making my publication searchable on Google?

Sometimes it is important for clients to restrict users access to their publication especially if the content is sensitive information, some typical scenarios where clients wish to restrict the publication becoming searchable are:

- Publication of company annual reports
- Internal only reports
- Publications with sensitive information

Steps to make publication non-searchable

If you do not want Google or any other search engine to able to index your publication this is what you do:

1) Go to Viewers
2) Edit your custom viewer
3) If this is a Standard Viewer, click the 'Other' tab at the top. (If you don't see the 'Other' tab, this is a Verge viewer; simply skip this step.)
4) At the bottom of the page remove the check mark for "Enable search engine indexing".
5) Click the "Save" button.
