I have edited my publication but the changes do not show on the live link

Why can't I see changes on my publication

When you edit or re-design your Zmags, You can see the changes immediately in preview mode. It can take up to 24 hours for the changes to be available on the online version. This is the time needed for the servers' cache (Akamai) to refresh and download latest pages. After that period, the changes will be reflected online.

If you need the changes reflected within 10-15 minutes then please follow the steps below:

1) Go to My Publications
2) Click the checkbox (left column) on your chosen publication
3) Click the "Refresh on CDN" button at the bottom of the screen
4) Click OK on the window that opens

Note: Previous visitors to this publication may need to clear their browser cache or wait up to 24 hours before changes are visible, due to browser caching.

What is the difference between a preview version and an activated version of a publication?

The preview version of the publication will display the changes immediately on a publication as the version is hosted on live servers on our amazon EC2 network.

The activated version of the publication will display the changes after 24 hours or after you have refreshed the changes using the 'Refresh on CDN' button on a publication. The activated version of the publication is hosted on the AKAMAI network which is a distributed network of around 50,000 servers dedicated to providing high availability of your publications
